Welcome to the DCO Thread, friends and rivals alike. The Outlaws established on the Dream at the start of 2012. Since then we've grown to over 300 toons, leveled from one to twenty-five, and some had some amazing times along the way.
As the GM of the DCO, I could not have been more lucky, with the fantastic Officers and Player base that we currently host inside our walls. The guild was founded based on old vanilla virtues, where reputation and community equated to success inside the guild. Overtime promoting and retaining some amazing community players, that make it worthwhile to sign unto WoW.After hitting our 300 toon mark, we've decided to close our doors to fresh recruits for an extended period of time. Ottavia, DCO Officers, Full Members, and Wannabe Outlaws, thank you for all you do. You ARE the DCO. ((Well, maybe not you Wannabes. Who cares about you! ;p)) About Us:
The DCO is a community first guild. The vision that fuels it, and the gears that turn it, are based on providing mature, low drama players, a place to kick back and enjoy playing a game. All of our aspects are nonmandatory, allowing our players to pick their own vices. Current Goals:
- Maintain and progress our current hosting content. Both RBG Teams, and our DS crew.
- Focus on learning each of our members on a personal level.
- Continue participating in ED's wonderful World Pvp
- Advance our RP Aspect further
- Get more involved in the ED community. Public War Games, Hosting Events, and further building guild to guild relations.
Code Of Conduct:
We filter for community gems. Players that are fantastic people, outside of a game. Players that like and can handle being apart of a social guild. On the other hand of things, we've had to turn away our fair share of players that just don't cope well with our environment. It's the nature of the beast.
All DCO is held to the same standards. You run into one of our boys or girls, griefing your roleplay, spamming, breaking the TOS, or general D-Baggery. Let me or Ottavia know, we'll get that fixed or send them on their way. Recruitment Policy:
We are currently not accepting new players. As was said before, we closed our doors shortly after we hit our 300 toon mark. We want to take some time, and pay full attention to the members we have right now. We've got a good chunk of new blood, some will get sent on their way, others we want to bring into our full member ranks. Gonna take this time to further build guild to guild community relations, and do a few guild internal events that have been put on hold for too long. With our second RBG Team off the ground, we'll be looking to further advance our Roleplay aspect both internally and with the ED Community. So, you may see some more Outlaws freelancing about, along with more Outlaw hosted community events. ^.^
We will eventually reopen our recruitment, but as of right now, we have no official time line for doing that. We closed as of 05/12/12, I couldn't see it getting reopened for at least a month. There are a few exceptions to this policy however. Real life friends, family, old gaming partners, and alts of guildies are still welcomed. It's all done on a case by case situation, and has it's own prerequisites for authentication. Wpvp Policy:
Though we're extremely down to earth people, it's the type we filter for. We rarely toot our own horn, or blow up the forums with our accomplishments, and epeen spamming. Still, we're not carebears on average. Granted, not all DCO Pvps, but a good chunk of us do.We have no restrictions for freelance Wpvp in the DCO. With the game mechanics as they are today, compared to how they where in vanilla, the Staff will extremely rarely pull rank on our freelancing members. It'd have to be a very special reason, none of which I could think of.
Yes, we're a 300 strong guild. That said, we don't enjoy or applaud zerging. We employ both small tactic Wpvp and are theory crafting on large tactic Wpvp, but we prefer to use as few numbers to take on as many as possible.

Guild Quest Pictures:
When you come into the DCO, you come in as a prospect. You get the rawest of perks from the guild at that point. No repairs, crappy Gbank usage, you can't chat in the full member channel, and you can't use our full member forums. After awhile of rolling with us, and showing us who you are, you get "promotable" status put in your public note. At that point, you recieve a "guild quest" to complete for full membership. The following is a few screenies from guildies trying to complete their Guild Quests! ^.^
Xio's Gquest: Xio had to farm out two shovels, spent about six nights farming kobolds. Then with his titan's grip and both shovels in hands, had to get KBS on enemy players with those two shovels. Arena, Bgs, TB while it's active didnt count.http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww81/Verri_02/GThreadPic2.jpg
Snuf's Gquest: Snuf had to farm killing blows, as a blood DK, in Orgimmar. Before he could get the KB and Screenshot it for credit though, he had to have multiple engineering flares popped on the ground. Flares have a GCD of about 3 seconds, a burn length of 5 minutes, and are only placable in certain area's of Orgimmar.http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww81/Verri_02/GThreadPic1.jpg
Should you have questions or concerns about the DCO, feel free to send any of these Officers an ingame mail, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Whispers are acceptable, but extremely unreliable! Guild Site: DevilclawOutlaws.guildportal.com
