How to insert Images and Youtube videos into your Posts

The easy way to insert images and youtube videos on our boards is as follows:

For reference I have attached images, please review the below jpg



For me to put the above image into my post I did the following:

I clicked the miniature Mona List button (Highlighted in red in the above image) which will make the img code appear within your post.
Notice the two sets of brackets. Your goal is to insert the URL of your youtube video OR the URL of the direct image on the web within those brackets.
Youtube videos use the <YouTube> button (green) and Images use the <Insert Image> button (red).
Example below:



That's all there is to it, and the youtube button works exactly the same. So basically:

• Click appropriate button
• Paste URL in between the bracketed code
• Post

Here, add this.

How to make something a link! Click "insert hyperlink" its the little world icon next to the picture icon.

It will give you two small URL brackets.

Then you do this:

[ url=INSERT YOUR URL HERE]What you want the link to say[/url]
(the extra space was added so you can clearly see what it should look like before you post it)

So if I want to link this thread, this it what it will look like:

As an additional tip, you can put other tags inside code tags to preserve them literally for the sake of example. But thats kind of redundant now.
