The regular season is over, time for real hockey.

Very happy that the Canucks won the Presidents Trophy, but I have zero faith that they will take the Cup, given the absolute fucking stupidity of Alain Vigneault alternating Luongo and Schneider over the past month. For fucks sake - you dont take a horse like Luongo and shit all over his confidence by starting Schneider every second game, and if Vigneault thinks that Corey is a playoff stud and believes that he can ride him to the finals, he should be taken out and fucking shot. Not to mention Daniel Sedin is still suffering from his concussion, Henrik sometimes looks lost without him and there is monstrous chasm between those two and the next rung of talent in Burrows, Kesler and Higgins.


Stanley Cup Prediction: NY Rangers over the Vancouver Canucks


First Round Predictions:


Eastern Conference
New York Rangers (1) over Ottawa ( 8 )
Boston (2) over Washington (7)
Florida (3) over New Jersey (6)
Philadelphia (5) over Pittsburgh (4) ... fully expect the Flyers to beat the shit out of that whiny little fucker Crosby

I really dont see the Rangers not making the finals - Boston is strong, but Henrik is about as solid a goaltending stud as you could possibly want heading into the playoffs.

Vancouver (1) over LA ( 8 )
St. Louis (2) over San Jose (7)
Chicago (6) over Phoenix (3) ... and the NHL bids adieu to the desert as the team relocates to Seattle or Quebec City
Detroit (5) over Nashville (4)

If Vancouver folds before the finals, which is a 50/50 chance given the shaky confidence of Luongo thanks to the fucking stupidity of that piece of shit coaching them, then I am going with the Red Wings who should have a solid run after they solve the Pekka Rinne puzzle.
