State Music Competition

Just thought I'd share my experiences from earlier today.

I posted a video of a quartet in a separate topic, and that was from a regional competition. I mentioned that I made it to the state competition in five different events, so I uploaded three of them to YouTube. Out of the two that didn't get uploaded, one wasn't recorded to begin with and the other is a brass ensemble that I'm sure no one cares to hear.

Today was interesting because I was sick the entire morning, and had all of my performances within a couple hours of each other. I had to make several trips to the bathroom in the time span of just a few hours... so it was pretty stressful (and embarrassing) and I'm sure it's a bit evident in the videos that I wasn't feeling the greatest. I'm the one in all black with kind of spiked hair, almost always on the far left.

Here's my favorite, I think anyone would enjoy it. "That Ever I Saw" is the title and the judge actually asked that we perform it twice for the pleasure of the audience, which was pretty cool.
