Oh god, if some people were hated just for this reason...nobody would get along on this forum.
Truth be told, Allyin is a mix of Bloodysoul's combativeness, Peeks try-hard humor, with a side of adolescent-level wisdom. It simply isn't an ideal mix for the majority of people to consume without vomiting.
He doesn't bother me, but I can see why so many with little tolerance wish he/she would go away.
Shozen:
I don't despise anyone here, though I fail to understand why some people get mad enough to do thinks like bring in IRL info.
That said, re:Ayllin, I tend to avoid responding to his posts because they always seem like they're only there to elicit response. Similar to BS, prob b/c he's trying to emulate. When BS was genuine, if he was ever genuine, I'd probably enjoy a convo, but I'm not sure we ever saw the actual guy, just some weirdo forum RP he came up with.
I don't see he or Ayllin ever actually sharing their thoughts though, just ham-fistedly trying to "troll" for... something. Not humor, and not to embarrass someone b/c it never works. Often enough they are whoosh-worthy posts or simply missing the point, which is why he catches so much flack imo.
People can say damn near anything as long as it's clever or moderately intelligent and they'll get by, there's an audience here for almost every kind of humor or perspective. Saying meaningless drivel is pretty useless though, and for now it seems Ayllin has gotten that rep.

Ayllin is nice. Why do most of you treat him like shit? Is it open season after the majority decide that someone is "dumb"? Ayllin gets more abuse here than anyone I've seen in a long time.
I've asked for concrete answers as to why Ayllin is so despised, and I've never heard any. Pretty unfair imo. And unfairness is relevant, when people are trying to make things more fair for everybody.

Because he thinks tanking LFR as a first-day 85 is worth making a post about.
Bhootam:
There's giving as good as you get and then there's taking things a bit too far, Cam. There's smart people and bad people and a very few smart and bad people. I remember the things he did and the targets he picked on the old old forums. I remember <E B O L A> and the bullshit that was caused (though, in the end, it was nothing remarkable, really)
On emerald drama, I never did anything against BS, far from it actually. It was me who verified his identity. There's very very few people I dislike and he's one of them. After all I've seen him do, I think I have a right to my opinions.
As far as Therm is concerned, again, I hold no brief for the man. I'm actually distantly fond of him but as someone who first called him the Loa of Rage, I recognise that he is what he chooses to be. But I do want to address the question of bias.
(Assuming we trust the moderation team enough to moderate impartially and be as fair), If we want them to have flexibility in deciding, on a case-by-case basis, the specifics of how they want to investigate and deal with a violation, then we cannot at the same time, for the same violation, ask that there's strict liability, that the moderation team rigidly follow the letter of the law at all times, without exception. It's a legal thing, ask Brontar (shit, almost let his RL name out!)
As I personally see it, there are some violations such as child porn or srs RL threats that need to be dealt with with strictness and finality. The other offenses, ranging from RL info leakage to BOOBIES BOOBIES BOOBIES can and should be dealt with with varying levels of flexibility.
Both the question of particular moderator(s) bias and the question of how flexible they can be with respect to particular offenses can and should be discussed.
After all, we're not the Blizzard forums.
