Good deal .. I saw them in New Orleans a few times 5-6 years ago ... they played with Big D & The Kids Table ... we tore that venue apart.

Skankin' ... fucking circle mosh pits ... people cool enough to pick you up after you got knocked down (unlike metal shows) ... real cool people. It was held at one of those Lion's Club Rotary joints ... you know where the old folks meet up and do old folks shit and stuff for the community... rent the hall out ... well, we had close to 400 show at this lil' building and was way over the fire marshal's limits so they wind up trying to shut the show down ... but not before a group of my buddies went crowd surfin' and kicked a few tiles out of the roof. My best friend picked me up and threw me down and a cop grabbed him by the throat and backed him up to a table. I had to get up on the table in the cop's face to let him know that we were friends and we were just fucking around. All the while, Streetlight's vocalist is taunting the cop and everyone else starts giving him so much shit he just walked out of the venue. After that show, they wouldn't rent the building out anymore to the touring bands. At that point the punk/ska scene died so no GOOD bands came to play in NOLA anyway.
I miss that scene ... miss Streelight and Big D coming through ... miss No Ca$h and Leftover Crack ... music these days just suck .. so much in fact that I don't go out to the shows anymore.
