((As I previously explained, I didn't -want- this to be a huge event, because when it is, it's very hard to keep track of what's going on with the amount of people that are helping with the organization process. So, keeping that in mind, I went to the -smaller- RP guilds and did not post the event here for that very reason, and I invited the smaller guilds, because I didn't want this to become a 5-6 hour affair by inviting the larger guilds. And if you've lead one of these before, then you would understand how difficult it is to keep up with chat, even with a medium sized group.
When I found out about this one by reading the forums, I was entirely shocked. I'd already planned it, and it's been in the planning stages for months. I was actually going to have it near Sweetest Day, but I decided it would be better to have it during the Valentine's Day event. We're not intentionally doing anything to stifle you guys. It was bad (perfect, however you view it) timing for both our guilds to have this event two days after Valentine's Day during the festival. It's unfortunate that it worked out that way. I guess "great minds think alike" (or as some would probably think, I'm giving myself too much credit, and I would probably concur with that.)
I really do hope that you have a nice event. I hope that it's successful, and I hope that many people attend your event. I hope that the people that were invited and said they were participating, -do indeed- participate in the HB event.
It's crappy it worked out this way, but we can make the best of it. Just go with it as planned. Hopefully ours is over by the time you want to start yours. That's my only concern at this point.))
