Locking Doreah in with Xaro was new. Well, the fact that she locked them in at all was new. I enjoyed it.

Brienne's returned brutality on the northerner rapist was excellent.

I expected to see the Red Wedding, but I can hold off.

I assumed he was dead, until ADWD.  I dunno, I often don't pick up on the niche stuff, and often forget some of the big things (Eg. GRRM saying outright that Jorah was the spy on Dany in the first book).

At one point they offered uhhh Catelyn I think the skin from Theon's pinky finger, or something like that.  So I assumed he was alive and being flayed or otherwise abused, and just not mentioned because that happens a lot.

While I loved the ending it was a pretty crappy season overall. Now I have to read the books because I'm not waiting another year.

Well… I think the biggest unresolved issue with the end of the season is:

What am I gonna watch now?

I’d been hanging out with some friends every Sunday to watch thrones… they want to continue the Sunday night activity with true blood… but… er…  totally not my cup of tea.

I missed season 2 of Sherlock cause PBS scheduled it against thrones… I didn’t think to dvr it, so now im waiting for it to hit Netflix… but that’s all of three episodes I think. Did anyone manage to catch it? was it good?

Also: anyone have any recommendations?

Breaking Bad's final season starts in a few weeks. its one of the few shows that fill the void of Game of Throne. Game of Thrones spring tv season, Breaking Bad summer season, Dexter fall season, Walking Dead winter season.
